Zorro is based on the 2005 novel by author Isabel Allende, Zorro is the story of the masked avenger Diego de la Vega’s courageous defence of his people and his home in California after his father disappears and his family is betrayed. This new stage adaptation of the classic adventure tale is directed by Christopher Renshaw and choreographed by renowned Spanish dancer Rafael Amargo, and has received critical acclaim and ecstatic audience responses in the West End after its successful UK tour.
An energetic, dramatic, fast paced and funny story pumped along by magic, pyrotechnics, romance, comedy, eyepopping swordsmanship and stomping flamenco, and driven by the unique Latin rhythms of the Gipsy Kings, and everybody is on their feet at the end, if not before. The sensational ensemble includes several classically trained Spanish dancers and singers alongside West End favourites Matt Rawle and Emma Williams.
